Delete your Teach with E4 account & data

Teach with E4 (TWE4) mobile app & web platform — developer: CloudsAI NZ / Teach with E4

Last updated: 12 April 2026

This page explains how to request deletion of your user account and associated personal data processed through Teach with E4. If you use the service through a school, your school may also hold or control certain records—we coordinate with them where required.

1. How to request account & data deletion

Send an email from the address registered on your account (if possible) so we can verify your identity:

  1. Email [email protected] with the subject line: Teach with E4 — Account deletion request.
  2. Include: your full name, registered email or username, role (e.g. teacher, parent, student), and school name.
  3. State clearly whether you want full account deletion or only specific data removed (see section 3).
  4. We may reply to confirm your identity or ask for limited additional information before processing.

Phone (optional): +91 79881 89699 — use email for a written record of your request.

2. What we typically delete

After we approve your request and where no law or school contract requires otherwise, we aim to delete or anonymise:

  • Your user profile and login credentials for Teach with E4.
  • Personal identifiers and account settings tied to your user ID.
  • Content you uploaded solely as personal account data where technically separable (e.g. certain attachments or messages attributed to you as an individual user).

Where your data is aggregated in school reports, grade books, or mandatory academic records, your school may need to retain copies for their obligations. We work with the school to anonymise or remove your personal identifiers where appropriate.

3. Delete some data without closing your account (optional)

You may email [email protected] to request correction or deletion of specific categories of data where feasible without deleting your whole account (for example, outdated contact details or specific files). We will tell you if a request cannot be fulfilled without account closure or without your school’s involvement.

4. What we may retain and for how long

  • Legal and security: minimal records needed to comply with law, resolve disputes, or detect abuse (e.g. audit logs), often in redacted or aggregated form.
  • Backups: residual copies may persist in encrypted backups for a limited period before rotation.
  • School-controlled records: retention may follow your institution’s policies; we describe our role in our Privacy Policy.

Unless a longer period is required by law or contract, we aim to complete deletion of active profile data within approximately 30 days of a verified request, with backup purges on a reasonable schedule after that.
